"Attacking" vs Rediscovering Yourself
Is the body "attacking itself" or is it trying to find what is You again?
If you look up ‘autoimmunity’ you’ll probably see the phrase ‘the body attacking itself’ somewhere in the definition. Though mulling over semantics is annoying, I do like to make a distinction for myself and the people I work with.
Attack doesn’t resonate with me. Instead, ‘a rediscovering of self’ does.
I just think it ~oh so perfectly~ places us in a mindset of the real objective.
In chronic illness, there is usually some dismissing, diminishing, and forgetting happens along the way. The body forgets its gut holds very real and true power. Others’ opinions, objectives, and insecurities began to leave not only an imprint on you, but a blueprint that you can no longer distinguish from your own. Ridding yourself of symptoms becomes confusing and difficult.
Finding the right support is not always the easiest.
I connect so deeply to helping women unburden themselves from chronic illness, societal pressures, and expectations from family & friends because women are the path forward. Having our collective intuition stunted by illness is a loss not only for ourselves, but the world as a whole.
Society needs you to be well. Let’s make that happen.
Community and a clear path to walk towards feeling better exists. Come watch some videos and see if it resonates.

Quick tip if that’s all you have time for right now:
Recognize where you hold tension in your body
Tense it up further, then release, and try to relax into that new feeling
Record how you feel
Try to be in that feeling more
