A Trip Around The World That I Wouldn’t Have Been Able To Do 10 Years Ago
Travel can be a major blockage to healing from a chronic illness.
Blockages, like travel, impede healing from a chronic illness. Other examples would be alcohol, purposely staying up late, or acute illness such as a cold.Travel is probably #1 as it encompasses major changes in diet, hydration, sleep, outside environment, and exercise. Does that mean we should avoid it forever? Probably not. It’s necessary, in my opinion, to becoming a more passionate, full, open version of yourself. Avoiding it during flare ups or more trying times is probably smart though.
The goal is to feel so resilient and fabulous that a 3-week trip fills you with nothing but giddiness, and you’re able to settle back into your work/life routine right away. The catch is that this may take you some time. That said, if you have the right process and framework, you can move through this time with maximum efficiency and efficacy.
That’s what I’ve built out for you.
A process that gives you a ton of autonomy but with a guided hand.I was so worn out by stress and EBV 10 years ago. Everything felt 10x harder than it was. Just thinking of it now tenses up my neck. Though I was fully functioning, I was on edge and merely watching life go by. Happily, as I didn’t really want to participate.
Now, I have a pep in my step as I think about traveling, creating, and serving. I have a sense of peace within my body. On days that are hard I still have an internal voice that comes through with purpose, clarity, and reassurance. One thing that helped was moving states. Besides that, it was work that spanned the physical, mental, and spiritual.
I have a bunch of complimentary videos set aside for those of you who want to learn more about my approach to relieving the burden of autoimmune and chronic health conditions, such as Long COVID & CFS/ME, to name a couple. This approach brings together so many of my favorite themes: Connecting with women
Formation of a community with honesty, depth, and fun
Sharing Traditional Chinese Medicine principles in a modern way
Researching and creating useful content
Promoting a decrease in consumption of trends
Buying less ~stuff~ that adds clutter not purpose
Instead of focusing on one specific tool, we can focus on a framework that lays out stages of healing. This allows for more autonomy. You can stick to what’s in each stage, or take it further by adding in tools/supplements/practices that you love, but with more direction and purpose. This cuts out the endless desire to add a new product in hopes that it’ll be “the one”. The products or practices that you currently use can suddenly work to their full extent, or you may not need them at all.
You can find more info in a clear and concise way here. The goal is to grow and evolve through this bizarre time together.
